TERMS OF BUSINESS AND ORDERING INFORMATION
Prices: All orders will be accepted according to our current Price List. All prices are in US dollar FOB, shipping point, unless otherwise agreed. Any state, federal, local and custom duties are extra where applicable, unless otherwise agreed. If you need our current price list please call, write, or fax.
Special Quotes: If you would like us to quote on special projects (large quantities, custom items), we can special quote based on your specific needs. Please e-mail details regarding the quantity, packaging, price point and delivery requirements. We will respond as quickly as possible with the best price based on your needs.
ALL INQUIRIES ARE QUOTED NET COST TO YOU; FOB COLUMBUS, OHIO USA AND ARE GOOD FOR 30 DAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. SOME EXCEPTIONS MAY APPLY TO THE ABOVE.
Delivery: Items in stock will be shipped within 5-10 business days of the receipt of your order. As we source our inventory worldwide, please allow 6-8 weeks for items not in stock. Very heavy and bulky items may need more time.
Please order in advance if you wish to avoid delays altogether. We are willing to stock items for you and make deliveries according to prearranged schedules, without any obligation.
Terms: Net. 30 days for qualified accounts. New accounts are requested to submit three credit and one bank reference for credit approval. All overdue accounts are subject to 2% monthly finance charges. Please submit a credit application online here.
*Due to the nature of our business as a wholesale distributor, orders less than US $200.00 are subject to an extra US $20.00 handling charge.
Returns and Guarantee: We offer 30 days unconditional guarantee on any product sold by us. Please do not return any goods without written agreement from us. Each request for return must include customer’s order number, our invoice number, and reasons for return. Please submit a Return Request which can be found here.
Returns are not allowed on the goods supplied on “special order basis” and merchandise past 90 days of invoicing. The goods being returned must be in new condition, securely packed, and shipped prepaid to American Scientific LLC. All goods ordered in error are subject to a 10% restocking charge.
MERCHANDISE CANNOT BE RETURNED UNLESS OUR OFFICE HAS GRANTED AUTHORIZATION
Shipping: Goods will be shipped by most economical carrier unless otherwise specified in advance.
Damage or Loss: Our liability ceases after the goods are handed to the carriers. Please inspect all shipments the day they are received. Any shipment apparently damaged must be reported on the consignee copy of the freight bill at the time of delivery or claim may be disallowed. Any concealed damage must be reported within 5 working days. Please retain the merchandise in the original packaging pending its inspection by the carriers.
Design Changes: We reserve the right to change the design or material of construction used in any item. Dimensions given in the catalog are approximates only which can vary if the design is altered.
Privacy Statement: American Scientific respects your privacy. The information we collect is used only to process orders and/or inform you about our latest products and services. At no time is any of the information you provide us shared with third party businesses.
When you submit a request (i.e. return, credit application, and feedback form) we request your company name, contact person, physical address, business phone, and e-mail address. This information is necessary to process and fulfill your request. We use secure server software (SSL) to encrypt all information on the invoice page to ensure against unauthorized access.
